Crumplers optional waist belt for the Royal Court, Opulent Rooster and Pyjama Pride helps spread the weight of the backpack.  The Zoomiverse has a belt included.  It has a pocket for a passport which is concealed when attached to the bag.  There are loops to attach extra pouches or lens cases.
